Bogdan Talos, Bass

Bogdan Talos is one of the most important young representatives of the serious bass repertoire and is an increasingly internationally sought-after artist. After great successes at Bayerischer Rundfunk München, Komische Oper Berlin and Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf-Duisburg, Bogdan Talos will make his debut at the Opéra de Paris as Monterone in Rigoletto in the 2021-22 season and return to Paris as Mandarino in Turandot .

At the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf-Duisburg, of which he has been a member since 2014/15, he will make his role debuts this season as Bluebeard in the new production of Bluebeard's Castle and as Banco in Verdi's Macbeth. So far he has played such important roles as Filippo (Don Carlo), Il re (Aida), Giorgio (I Puritani), Giorgio Talbot (Maria Stuarda), Raimondo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Alidoro (La Cenerentola) at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein ), Frere Laurent (Roméo et Juliette), Leporello (Don Giovanni), Figaro (Nozze di Figaro), Sarastro (Magic Flute), Truffaldino (Ariadne auf Naxos), Hermann / Schlehmil (Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Herold (L ' amour des trois oranges) and Fasolt (Rheingold).

Bogdan Talos studied at the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca and graduated in 2005. Since 2010 he has won numerous prestigious singing competitions. In 2010 he made his operatic debut as Donizetti's Don Pasquale. He then appeared in 2011 as Colline and Shaunard (La Bohème) and 2012 as Escamillo (Carmen) and Ferrando (Il Trovatore) at various opera houses in Romania and made guest appearances as Sarastro at the St. Margareten Opera Festival in Austria.

His concert repertoire includes the Requiem compositions by Mozart, Verdi and Brahms as well as Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
